I am experienced in assessment and supporting differential diagnosis for people experiencing sudden changes to their speech, language skills and understanding. I work with carers to enable better communication and use of strategies to support the people with Dementia and rare Dementias, along with providing information to better understand the condition and enable the person to continue to participate in activities they enjoy.
I provide a range of evidence-based therapies for people who have experienced a Stroke or Brain Injury. I advocate goal focused, person centred, Aphasia therapy delivered intensively with home practice programmes using apps to support this.
